Kia ora Mosen At Largers.

It certainly makes producing the podcast a whole lot easier when we have a voluminous volume of contributions like we have received this week. Thanks for taking the time to contribute, I truly appreciate it.

I have a lot more to tell you about the Dell saga that began on last week’s episode, and in fact I have a warning for listeners with Dell listeners, because what’s plaguing me could be just around the corner to plague you if it hasn’t done so already. On the bright side, it has inspired me to get the laptop of my dreams built. Heidi joins me to discuss the saga, her incredible computing detective work, and the specs of the new beast being made for me in a factory far, far away as we speak.

We have received many thoughtful contributions on the subject of whether it’s necessary, or even a good idea, for presenters to describe their appearance at meetings. If you’ve heard the discussion from last week and want to comment, you are of course very welcome.

We’ll get back to the Chromebook, as I take a look at the implementation of Braille in Chrome OS using two devices. This is another case where the APH Mantis really comes into its own. We’ll also hear some comprehensive analysis from a sighted software engineer who listens to the show and has been moved to have a play with Chromevox.

As usual, there’s a wide array of blindness and technology topics from listeners on which you may like to comment once you hear them.

If you want to raise something new, you’re very welcome. Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you. What makes Mosen At Large special is the global community we’ve built and all the perspectives we share with each other.

To contribute, send an email with an audio attachment or just written down to Jonathan at MushroomFM.com, or call the listener line, +18646066736, that’s 1-864-60Mosen.

Catch Mosen At Large anywhere you get podcasts. Expect the next episode to drop on Sunday morning New Zealand time.

Thank you so much for listening and contributing to the show and see you soon for Mosen At Large.
